Protection from violence and exploitation

Violence and exploitation, particularly sexual and gender-based violence, disproportionately impact refugee and internally displaced women and children in West and Central Africa. Over 3 million children have been displaced in the region, with over 9,300 unaccompanied and separated children and over 4,800 youngsters enlisted in armed organizations. The Richway Samaritan Foundation continues to promote and implement new best interest determination processes in 2021. Early identification, referral of people with specific needs, and focused help are our priorities, although they are difficult to achieve with your donations, we can definitely make a huge difference.

Services and basic needs

The Richway Samaritan Foundation intends to expand and scale-up the use of cash-based interventions in Nigeria and other West African countries with donations and support to provide access to basic necessities and services while encouraging socio-economic inclusion of displaced communities. The increased use of cash-based interventions will aim to provide housing, education, potable clean water, and other necessities to improve existing markets and local services, which benefits host communities as well. Richway Samaritan Foundation has volunteer across the Northwest and the Northeast Nigeria.
