The Sea is a God-given gift since it is essential to the existence of all living things.
Furthermore, the future of the entire planet is at stake, and apparently it might just be too late!

About The Book

“The Empty Sea” is co-authored by Italian researcher Ilaria Perissi and physical chemistry professor Ugo Bardi. This book explores the consequences of eating seafood, which is causing sea life to go extinct. Even though 70% of the world’s surface is covered in water, this artwork does a good job of explaining how things really are. The substance of the book is interesting, and the information has been well thought out and organised. Research and polls back up each claim.

For the most part, “The Empty Sea” focuses on the deep sea’s marine life and discoveries. It discusses the sea’s natural beauty, as well as what it’s designed to be used for and what our eating habits are doing to it. Change is sweeping the seas, and the rest of the world is busy consuming it!
